We mobilize and direct investment capital toward companies and projects producing both high carbon mitigation impact and risk adjusted market returns

Our focus is on short-lived climate pollutants and other sources of greenhouse gas emissions.

Short-lived climate pollutants are powerful climate forcers that remain in the atmosphere for a much shorter period of time than longer-lived climate pollutants, such as carbon dioxide. Their relative potency, can be tens, hundreds, or even thousands of times greater than that of CO2. The impacts of short-lived climate pollutants, particularly HFCs and methane, are especially strong over the short term.  Reducing these emissions can make an immediate beneficial impact on climate change.

Methane

Methane emissions come from livestock, waste and oil & gas applications. Roughly 30 times more powerful than a unit of carbon in the atmosphere, methane leak mitigation is a critical GHG reduction measure. We help finance projects that capture and redirect methane emissions into renewable natural gas.

HFCs

HFCs are powerful global warming gases used in refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Many experts believe they could be responsible for 20% of global GHG output by 2040. The transition is underway to reduce fugitive emissions and phase into low GWP alternatives, which we help catalyze.
